In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Karma Chameleon.”
Karma is real! I don’t know why some people don’t believe it.
If you look at the Wikipedia page, you will know that it has its existence in this world from the start.
Let me put it like this:
- Did anyone ever tell you not to hurt others because you will get hurt in future too?
- Did your elders ever tell you not to take sweets from ‘Strangers’ because it is ‘dangerous’?
- Did you experience pain right some days after you had a good laugh? Or did you have a good time, after some days of feeling yourself at some low point?
- Did you hear someone say ‘It is due to your past life karma?’
If you are aware of any of the above four points, then you got my point.
There are many such events that must have occurred in your life at some point, isn’t it? I am sure that most of us have experienced the bad after the good or vice-versa. We hardly notice it. Why?
We live in a modern world where things like these do not imply much importance even though they are real. We cannot see ‘karma’. It depends on what we do. It is the result of our actions. But we are so caught up with the flow that we fail to recognize these events and its consequences.
Even if science proves the existence of Karma as a thing, it won’t change the way I live my Life. Because I know that, whatever I do, I need to face the consequences of that action.
Our words and actions have been influencing our future right from beginning. There’s nothing we can do except being more aware of the decisions which impacts ours as well as others lives.
Believe me when I say, Karma is real.
So, next time you are up to something, think twice. Because, what goes around, eventually comes around and hits right where it hurts!
