“If you could spend the next year as someone radically different from the current “you” — a member of a different species, someone from a different gender or generation, etc. — who would you choose to be?”
The most awaited Year 2015 has finally come and everyone is excited about this New Year as always! So let me begin my 2015’s blogging activity by wishing you all a prosperous and blessed new year ahead. 🙂
2015 is the Chinese Year of the Goat
First and foremost, I do not want to be any different that who or what I am. Period.
I am thankful and grateful to Almighty for giving me this Life and the people around me. Our Life gets molded by the people around us and the situations we face. We learn by our experiences and mistakes, we learn by observing things around us, isn’t it? I would not say that these factors contribute to us “changing” the way we live our Life but yes, they do affect our style of living.
I personally know many people (friends included) who want me to change, who wish that I was someone different or behaved differently and even those who do not want me in their Life at all. They would just want me to vanish in thin air without any trace. I carry lots of bad wishes with me, lots of curses and what not!
These things don’t affect me at all. Why should it? I am not bothered with those people; and why should I change for their sake? If my so-called “Friends” can’t accept me for who I am or how I behave, then they are free to go…forever. I don’t mind at all. I would rather be with my enemies than with people who claim to be friends with me.
Given the chance “to be anyone” in 2015, I would rather be myself and continue living the way I live right now. I am a kind of a person that is less likely to change for the good of others. However, it depends on the person. I decide the what, why and how in and around me and I wear that attitude day in and day out; it actually helps me to avoid people I dislike.
Well, I think I should stop now. Ain’t I getting too personal? 😛
Thanks for reading!
Wish you all a Happy New Year. Have a great blogging year!
